Forest walks (Diptych)

Forests hold a timeless magic; their sounds muffled, their light flickering. This painting layers tones of green to reflect nature’s multiplicity, the graduation from cool green to warm green providing a full spectrum of emotion. There is motion in the composition: a suggestion of wind, wings, and the unseen. Nature is not still, but alive with quiet energy. This is where I feel grounded and most myself.
