Africa Love

Working in my signature style of creating compelling, coloursoaked, eye catching surfaces that draws the viewer closer with my use of familiar pop culture and consumer culture references, I aim to celebrate the pride and love for the Continent and it's proud people. On closer inspection my pop culture references are never what they seem and the idea is always to celebrate, highlight or question topical and social issues facing us. In this piece the popular M&M's gets the Fadiel Hermans workover and the overall idea is to celebrate the pride and strength of the women on this continent.
