I notice more and more that my signature style is to create compelling, coloursoaked, eye catching surfaces that draws the viewer closer with my use of familiar pop culture and consumer culture references. On closer inspection these references are never what they seem and the idea is always to celebrate, highlight or question topical and social issues in this new age we find ourselves in. In this piece the popular M&M's gets the Fadiel Hermans workover and the overall idea is to celebrate the pride and strength of the women on this continent.
